Elizabeth Jones is here! Emily started having contractions on Wednesday night around 10:45pm. She woke me up at 2am and we came into the hospital at 4am. Emily did an incredible job and only had to push about a half hour before beautiful Lizzy popped on out. She is adorable. She has lots of crazy light brown, swirly hair. And she has what they call a "stork's bite" - a splotchy check mark shaped spot right on the middle of her forehead. It looks like a nike swoosh almost:) They say it should fade but will show up in the first couple of years when she cries or gets worked up. She weighed 7lbs13oz, 20 3/4 inches long, and was born at 4:05 pm. Here are a few pictures. Enjoy!

She's so cute! I wish I could hold her! I'm so happy for you guys! I hope Emily and Lizzy are doing well and that you are able to keep up with your school work too. What an exciting time for you! Yay!!

She is soo beautiful!! Congrats! We are so happy for you both! I am glad everything went well with the delivery. Brock told like two days after he got your message. I was so mad, we were driving and I was like oh john and emily should have there baby anytime. And of course Brock is like oh yeah they did... Typical. Our babies are only 2 days shy from being a year apart! I am so glad I found your blog!! And you looked so beautiful after the delivery. I hate you! JK haha!!

Emily, I was so excited to hear the news at church today. She is BEAUTIFUL! By the way, Natalie had a "stork's bite" too, though I prefer the term "angel's kiss." :) I will be calling you later to see when I can bring a meal by for yall!
